Top Quality with Offset Printing: From Cardboard to Sturdy Corrugated Board
All boxes in this category are manufactured using offset printing. This technology ensures maximum image quality – vibrant colors, fine details, and the ability to print high-resolution photos or complex designs (e.g., with color gradients) that cannot be achieved with direct printing on cardboard.
Depending on the weight and purpose of your product, you can choose:
- Cardboard packaging. Cardboard is a thin, rigid paper ideal for lightweight products. It is perfect for home fragrances, cosmetics, candles, tea, jewelry, or accessories. Cardboard boxes are typically small and offer a refined, aesthetic look.
- Litho-laminated corrugated board boxes. Litho-lamination is a technology where an offset-printed sheet is bonded to corrugated board using high-precision automated equipment. This results in a box that is both representative and exceptionally sturdy. This solution is best for larger or heavier items that require more durable structures. Litho-laminated boxes are ideal for glass jars (e.g., honey), drink sets with bottles and glasses, cosmetic kits, textiles, or corporate gifts.

What is the difference between glossy and matte lamination? (Photo comparison)
expand_moreLamination is a packaging finishing process where an offset-printed surface is coated with an extremely thin layer of film. This not only provides the final aesthetic effect for the box but also serves as protection against moisture, scratches, and friction.
Although the design and printing may be identical, the chosen type of laminate fundamentally changes the appearance of the packaging. In these photos, you can compare the same designs with different finishes: you will see how the glossy surface creates a mirror-like effect, while the matte laminate absorbs light, maintaining a calm color palette.

Key Differences
| Feature | Glossy Laminate | Matte Laminate |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Provides strong light reflection; looks bright and playful. | Absorbs light; provides a calm, modern, and solid look. |
| Colors | Appear more saturated, darker, and high-contrast. | Appear softer, pastel-like, and slightly muted. |
| Surface | Smooth, slick, and highly resistant to external factors. | Soft to the touch, provides a luxury feel, but is more sensitive to fingerprints (especially on dark colors). |
| Best Suited For | Bold logos, photos, and festive packaging. | Minimalist designs and premium-class products. |
A Tip from the SUPERBOX Team:
If the packaging will be handled frequently (e.g., in a display or on a store shelf), a glossy surface will remain presentable longer because it is easier to clean. Meanwhile, matte laminate is indispensable for creating a subtle, luxurious, and high-end impression.
