This construction, consisting of a separate removable lid and a box base, is universal. The lid of this model does not lock onto the base in any way, so such boxes are usually handed over directly or tied with a ribbon to prevent the box from opening and to make it easier to carry.

Most of the larger two-piece boxes (base–lid) are made from thin but strong and visually appealing corrugated cardboard in various colors, making the boxes sturdy and suitable for heavier items such as beverage bottles, jars with spreads, or other delicacies.

SUPERBOX two-piece boxes are supplied flat, so they take up little storage space. We pack the boxes in sets of 25 pcs in protective shipping cartons, ensuring they always reach customers in perfect condition. The boxes must be folded neatly for the best final result – SUPERBOX provides folding instructions on its YouTube channel to make the process easier.
Two-piece boxes can be personalized. Custom printing is usually applied to the lid and less often to the base. The most popular logo and design colors on dark boxes (black, navy, red, green) are gold, silver, and white. White and silver prints look visually similar on black cardboard, but white appears brighter and more prominent, while silver looks calmer and more subtle. On brown cardboard boxes, printing is most often done in white or black.
In recent years, full-color printing has been rapidly gaining popularity. SUPERBOX can apply full-color CMYK printing on colored boxes from its assortment or produce boxes with a customer’s custom design. However, manufacturing boxes with full-color printing is significantly more expensive than applying color printing on an already-made lid, which is why this latter option is recommended for small quantities.
If you cannot find the right box size within the large SUPERBOX assortment, we can produce it. The standard production time is 2 weeks, but before Christmas this period may be longer. Therefore, if you need boxes quickly, it is worth choosing a similar-size model from the SUPERBOX online store, as we keep large quantities in stock.
Although two-piece boxes are a universal and in many cases ideal packaging solution, they are unsuitable in certain situations. This construction is not recommended when:

Are SUPERBOX boxes made from 100% recycled cardboard?

While it is technically possible to produce boxes from 100% recycled corrugated cardboard, in practice this is not always suitable for shipping. Corrugated board made entirely from recycled fiber is more sensitive to moisture and less resistant to compression. As a result, during longer transportation, the box may lose its shape or become damaged.
We do not recommend choosing boxes made from 100% recycled cardboard if you are planning a more economical shipping option, where the parcel travels longer distances and is handled multiple times across sorting terminals.
